About Little Coffee Corner

Little Coffee Corner is about one thing: fitting a coffee bar, station, corner or nook into a home. Not cafe reviews, not bean subscriptions. The space, the furniture, the small stuff that keeps it tidy, and what to stock it with.

How the drawings are made

The 41 setups in the ideas gallery are front elevations drawn to scale from their stated dimensions. The dot grid behind each drawing is 6 inches, the width printed under each one is the real width of the surface, and the clearance marked beside a shelf is the real gap. Machines and accessories are drawn at typical sizes, so treat them as a guide and check your own machine.

Where the numbers come from

Dimensions in the guides are standard US residential figures (36 inch counters, 18 inches between counter and wall cabinets, 16 inch stud spacing) and typical ranges for the product type. Load ratings, appliance wattage and fridge clearances vary by product, so where it matters the guides tell you to go by the manufacturer's own spec sheet. Prices are ranges, not quotes.

The guides do not claim hands-on testing of products. Where a guide recommends a type of product over another, the reasoning is in the text so you can judge it.
